Privacy Policy

We collect as little as possible. We sell none of it.

What we collect

• Anonymous analytics — page views, country (not IP), device type, referring site. Used to know which articles help readers.
• Affiliate clicks — when you click an Amazon link, Amazon (not us) tracks the click and any purchase via cookies. We see aggregated commission data only, never your name or order details.
• Email you send us — if you email us, we store your email in our inbox until the question is resolved.

What we do NOT collect

• Your name, address, or phone (unless you give it to us).
• Your IP address (we anonymize).
• Your purchase details on Amazon (we don't see them).
• Anything via fingerprinting, session replay, or cross-site tracking.

Cookies

We use minimal first-party cookies for site preferences (theme, dismissed banners). Third-party cookies come from:

• Amazon Associates — when you click an Amazon link, Amazon sets a 24-hour cookie on your browser to track purchases.
• Google Analytics (planned) — anonymous traffic analytics, with IP anonymization enabled.

Your rights

Under GDPR (EU) and CCPA (California), you have the right to:

• Request what data we have on you (typically: nothing).
• Request deletion of any email correspondence.
• Opt out of analytics via browser "Do Not Track" headers (we honor them).

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
