USB-C made connecting everything simpler, and made buying the right cable, hub or charger harder. thisUSB exists to fix that.

What we do

We research USB gear the way a careful buyer would if they had the time: we read the manufacturer spec sheets, check them against the USB, Thunderbolt and Power Delivery standards, and work out which products actually fit which devices. Then we turn that into clear picks and plain-English guides.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t sell rankings. No brand can pay for a position.
  • We don’t claim lab testing we haven’t done. When something comes from a spec sheet, we say so.
  • We don’t show prices that might be stale. Current prices always live on the retailer’s page.
