What the specs mean for you

65W

For full-speed charging, use a USB-C Power Delivery charger rated 65W or more and a cable rated for at least 100W. A bigger charger is safe: the device only draws what it needs.

2x Thunderbolt 4 (USB-C) with DisplayPort and Power Delivery 3.0

Data speed

40 Gbps

Thunderbolt/USB4 class: fast NVMe SSDs, docks and high-res displays over one cable.

Supports an external display. Check the resolution you need.

Why people pick it

  • Two Thunderbolt 4 ports, so it can charge and drive a display or dock at the same time
  • microSD Express reader, much faster than a standard UHS-I slot with a compatible card
  • Large 80Wh battery for a handheld
  • Intel's newest handheld chip, with Hall Effect sticks and triggers

Know before you buy

  • Heavier than a Steam Deck OLED or ROG Xbox Ally X at 785 g
  • microSD Express speed needs a microSD Express card; standard cards run at normal speeds
  • Windows 11 only out of the box
  • Newer platform with a shorter track record than AMD-based handhelds
