What the specs mean for you

Charger to use

60W

For full-speed charging, use a USB-C Power Delivery charger rated 60W or more and a cable rated for at least 60W. A bigger charger is safe: the device only draws what it needs.

Why people pick it

  • Two USB-C ports, so it can charge from the top port while the bottom port is in use
  • Dock with HDMI rated for 4K@60 and 120fps at 1080p/1440p, a wired LAN port and two USB ports
  • microSD Express support for much faster expansion storage
  • Dock, AC adapter, HDMI cable and USB-C cable all included

Know before you buy

  • Only microSD Express cards work for game storage; standard microSD cards aren't supported
  • TV output is designed around Nintendo's dock; many third-party USB-C docks and handheld docks don't output video from a Switch 2
  • The dock's USB ports are USB 2.0
