The best gift for someone with a USB-C iPhone (iPhone 15 or later) is the Belkin UltraCharge 2-in-1: a Qi2 25W certified stand that charges the phone and AirPods, and that ships with the power supply most MagSafe chargers leave out. For a phone that's always low on battery, the UGREEN MagFlow Qi2 25W power bank is the pocket pick. If they own an iPhone 18 Pro or iPhone Duo, add Apple's 40W Dynamic Power Adapter, the adapter behind Apple's fastest charge times.

Every pick comes from Apple's own specs, the Wireless Power Consortium's certification database and manufacturer spec sheets. We haven't physically tested these products.

Which iPhone do they have?

It changes what's worth buying. The model name is in Settings > General > About. Here's what Apple's tech specs and its fast-charging support page say about each USB-C iPhone:

*Qi2 25W on the iPhone 16 line arrived with a software update: Belkin, UGREEN and Anker say it needs iOS 26 or later.

Three things follow:

  1. Qi2 25W is the big wireless upgrade. Most iPhones from the 16 onward charge at up to 25W on a Qi2 25W charger, against 15W on older Qi2 or MagSafe gear. Charger makers list the iPhone 16 and 16 Pro slightly lower, at 20W to 22W. Check for Qi2 25W, or Qi2.2, certification before you buy.
  2. Apple publishes adapter classes, not peak draw. Apple doesn't say how many watts an iPhone actually pulls. It names the adapter behind its fastest figures: 20W for most models, 40W for the iPhone 17 family and 60W-capable for the 18 Pro and Duo. Apple quotes times to 50% because charging is fastest on a low battery and slows as it fills. A bigger charger is safe, because the phone only takes what it asks for.
  3. Only Pro models (and the Duo) get USB 3. The base models run at USB 2's 480Mb/s, so a fast SSD won't speed up their transfers. The cable in every iPhone box is USB 2, so Pro owners need a 10Gb/s USB 3 cable for the faster speed.

Best overall gift: Belkin UltraCharge 2-in-1 (Qi2 25W)

Belkin UltraCharge 2-in-1 Foldable Magnetic Charger with Qi2 25W (White)
Best overall gift

Belkin

Belkin UltraCharge 2-in-1 Foldable Magnetic Charger with Qi2 25W (White)

A foldable Qi2.2-certified magnetic stand that charges an iPhone at up to 25W and AirPods at up to 5W, with a 5W USB-C port for a watch cable and a 45W USB-C power supply in the box.

  • 25W max output
  • 1 port

This stand solves the problem behind most slow MagSafe charging: an underpowered adapter. Belkin includes a 45W USB-C power supply and a 5 ft braided cable, so it always gets enough power. The Wireless Power Consortium's database lists it (Belkin part WIZ038) as Qi v2.2.1 with the MPP25 profile, meaning certified Qi2 25W. Belkin quotes an iPhone 16 on iOS 26 going from 0 to 50% in 29 minutes.

The base has a 5W pad for AirPods and a 5W USB-C port for an Apple Watch cable, so one outlet covers three devices. It folds to about 106 x 60 x 24mm and 162g, so it travels too.

Good to know: There's no built-in watch puck, Belkin lists cases up to 3mm, and the iPhone 16e has no MagSafe magnets to hold it in place. Our best iPhone charger guide covers wired options.

Best Qi2 power bank: UGREEN MagFlow 10000mAh (Qi2 25W)

Best Qi2 power bank

UGREEN

UGREEN MagFlow Magnetic Wireless Power Bank 10000mAh (Qi2 25W)

A 10,000mAh magnetic power bank with Qi2 25W wireless charging, a built-in 30W USB-C cable that doubles as a carry strap, and a second USB-C port.

  • 30W max output
  • 2 ports

A magnetic power bank is the gift iPhone owners use every day without thinking about it. UGREEN's MagFlow is Qi2 25W certified, rated 10,000mAh (36Wh), and lists 25W wireless for the iPhone 17 series and the iPhone 16 series on iOS 26. iPhone 12 to 15 models charge at up to 15W. A 22cm USB-C cable is built in and doubles as a carry strap, rated at 30W in both directions, and there's a second 30W USB-C port. UGREEN quotes an iPhone 17 Pro Max reaching 50% in about 38 minutes at 25W.

Good to know: At 36Wh it's far below the 100Wh carry-on limit, though many airlines limit how many power banks you carry. If you want active cooling, the Anker MagGo Power Bank 2 Pro adds a fan and a stand. Our power bank guide compares both.

Best wall charger: Apple 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max

Apple

Apple 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max

Apple's single-port USB-C wall charger, rated 40W continuous, that can dynamically deliver up to 60W and supports Adjustable Voltage Supply (AVS).

  • 40W max output
  • 1 port

If you don't know which iPhone they have, this is the charger that meets Apple's fastest wired figure on all of them. Apple rates it for 40W continuous and "up to 60W," with Adjustable Voltage Supply (AVS) ranges of 9-15V and 15-20V. Apple names it for the iPhone 18 Pro's 50% in about 15 minutes and used it for the iPhone Duo's 20-minute figure. It also clears the 40W the iPhone 17 family needs, and powers a MagSafe Charger above the 35W Apple quotes for the 18 Pro.

Good to know: It has one port and no cable. Any standard USB-C to USB-C cable carries 60W, which covers Apple's cable requirement. For iPhone 17 owners, the Anker Nano Charger (45W) meets the 40W target on paper and adds a small display.

Best car gift: UGREEN MagFlow 25W Wireless Car Charger

UGREEN MagFlow 25W Magnetic Wireless Car Charger (Qi2 25W, Vent Mount)
Best car gift

UGREEN

UGREEN MagFlow 25W Magnetic Wireless Car Charger (Qi2 25W, Vent Mount)

A Qi2 25W certified magnetic air-vent car mount that charges MagSafe iPhones wirelessly, powered over USB-C from a separate car charger.

  • 25W max output
  • 1 port

A magnetic vent mount turns the iPhone into a navigation screen that charges while it guides. UGREEN's MagFlow mount is listed in the WPC database as Qi v2.2.1, MPP25 at 25W. UGREEN lists 25W for the iPhone 16 and 17 on iOS 26 or later and 15W for iPhone 12 to 15, holds the phone with 17 magnets rated at 11N, and includes a 3 ft USB-C cable. The mount rotates for portrait or landscape and supports StandBy.

Good to know: The mount has no plug of its own. It needs a USB-C car charger with enough power: UGREEN recommends 45W or more for full speed, and many built-in car USB ports supply far less. The UGREEN Nexode Car Charger 145W has a 100W USB-C port for the mount and a retractable cable for a passenger. It works with no case or a MagSafe case, not a non-MagSafe case. More options are in our car charger guide.

Best cable gift: Anker 100W USB-C Cable (10 ft)

Anker Nylon USB-C to USB-C 100W Cable (10 ft)
Best cable gift

Anker

Anker Nylon USB-C to USB-C 100W Cable (10 ft)

A 10 ft braided USB-C to USB-C charging cable rated for 100W, with USB 2.0 data.

  • 0.48 Gbps data

The cable in the iPhone box is 1 meter, which often won't reach from the outlet to the bed. Anker's 10 ft braided cable fixes that. It has a 5A e-marker for up to 100W, comfortably above the 60W-capable cable Apple asks for with the iPhone 18 Pro and Duo, and it can charge a laptop too.

Good to know: Data runs at USB 2.0's 480Mbps and there's no video, so it's a charging cable. For fast transfers from a Pro iPhone, use a 10Gb/s cable such as the Plugable Thunderbolt 5 cable. Small cable gifts are in our USB stocking stuffers guide.

Best earbuds: Apple AirPods Pro 3

Apple

Apple AirPods Pro 3 (MagSafe Charging Case, USB-C, White)

Apple's noise-cancelling AirPods Pro 3 earbuds with a MagSafe Charging Case that charges over USB-C, MagSafe, Qi-certified pads or an Apple Watch charger.

  • 1 port

AirPods Pro 3 are the obvious iPhone audio gift, and their case fits the USB-C era: it charges over USB-C, on a MagSafe charger, on Qi-certified pads (including the Belkin stand above) or on an Apple Watch charger. Apple lists up to 8 hours per charge with noise cancellation on, 24 hours with the case, and about an hour of listening from 5 minutes in the case.

Good to know: Apple doesn't include a USB-C cable or power adapter. In a pinch, a USB-C iPhone can charge the case at up to 4.5W over a USB-C cable. The case's USB-C port is for charging only, not wired audio. Our USB-C earbuds and headphones guide covers other options.

Best for Pro iPhone video: SanDisk Creator Phone SSD (1TB)

SanDisk Creator Phone SSD (1TB, MagSafe-Compatible)
Best for Pro iPhone video

SanDisk

SanDisk Creator Phone SSD (1TB, MagSafe-Compatible)

A 1TB MagSafe-compatible portable SSD over USB 3.2 Gen 2 that attaches to the back of an iPhone for recording ProRes video straight to the drive.

  • 10 Gbps data
  • 1 port

Pro iPhones can record ProRes video straight to an external drive, which saves filling the phone. Apple's ProRes support page lists the iPhone 15 Pro, 16 Pro and 17 Pro, and the iPhone 18 Pro specs list external ProRes recording up to 4K at 120fps. Apple's requirements: an exFAT drive, a 10Gb/s USB 3 cable, no password encryption, and write speeds of at least 220MB/s for 4K60 (440MB/s for 4K120).

SanDisk's drive is built for that. It's MagSafe-compatible, so it snaps onto the back of the phone, and it's rated up to 1,000MB/s reads and 950MB/s writes over 10Gbps USB-C, with IP65 and 3m drop ratings at 54g. SanDisk lists 4K60 ProRes support on iPhone 15 Pro and 16 Pro models.

Good to know: SanDisk doesn't make a 4K120 claim, so treat it as a 4K60 drive. On a non-Pro iPhone it works as storage at USB 2 speed. Our portable SSD guide has more drives.

SanDisk

SanDisk Phone Drive with USB-C (256GB, Maritime Blue)

A slim USB-C flash drive with a built-in loop, designed for USB-C iPhones, iPads and Macs and rated up to 150MB/s reads.

  • 5 Gbps data
  • 1 port

A full iPhone and an iCloud plan they don't want is a common problem. SanDisk's Phone Drive is a slim 256GB USB-C stick for USB-C iPhones, iPads and Macs, with a metal body, a built-in loop and automatic backup through the SanDisk App. It weighs 5.38g and comes in colors that match recent iPhones.

Good to know: It's rated up to 150MB/s reads over USB 3.2 Gen 1, but non-Pro iPhones are limited to USB 2's 480Mb/s, so big backups take a while. There's no cap or USB-A plug, and the warranty is 2 years. For budget ideas, see our USB tech gifts under 50.

How we choose

We haven't physically tested these products. We pick gifts from research:

  • Apple's numbers first. Charging figures, USB speeds and ProRes requirements come from Apple's tech specs and support pages, and every pick is sized against them.
  • Certification. Each Qi2 pick appears in the Wireless Power Consortium's certified database, not just on its box.
  • Manufacturer spec sheets for every wattage, capacity and dimension, with gaps stated rather than guessed.
  • Name-brand, current gear that solves common iPhone complaints: slow MagSafe charging, short cables, full storage and a dead battery by evening.

Buying tips

Find out the model first. Qi2 25W, USB 3 speeds and the fastest wired rates all depend on it.

Check the case. Magnetic chargers need a MagSafe-compatible case or none. The iPhone 16e has no MagSafe magnets at all.

Remember what's not in the box. iPhones ship with a USB 2 USB-C cable and no power adapter. AirPods Pro 3 ship with no cable. A charger or cable is a safe add-on.

Watch for fake certification. "MagSafe-compatible" and "Qi2 Ready" don't mean Qi2 25W certified. Our USB-C deal guide shows how to check.

Verdict

The Belkin UltraCharge 2-in-1 is the best all-round gift because it's certified Qi2 25W and needs nothing else. The UGREEN MagFlow power bank is the everyday-carry pick, and Apple's 40W Dynamic Power Adapter is the wall charger for an iPhone 18 Pro or Duo. For drivers, the UGREEN MagFlow car mount pairs with a 45W+ car charger. The Anker 10 ft cable, AirPods Pro 3, SanDisk Creator Phone SSD for Pro filmmakers and the SanDisk Phone Drive stocking stuffer round out the list.

Frequently asked questions

Which iPhones support Qi2 25W charging?

According to Apple's specs, the iPhone 17, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max, 18 Pro, 18 Pro Max and iPhone Duo support Qi2 at up to 25W, and charger makers say the iPhone 16 lineup gets Qi2 25W with iOS 26 or later, though they list the 16 and 16 Pro a little lower. The iPhone Air tops out at 20W, and the iPhone 15 and 17e at 15W. The iPhone 16e has no MagSafe magnets and charges on plain Qi at up to 7.5W.

What charger does an iPhone 17 or iPhone 18 Pro need?

Apple quotes 50% in about 20 minutes for the iPhone 17 family with a 40W or higher USB-C adapter. The iPhone 18 Pro reaches 50% in about 15 minutes with a 60W-capable adapter that supports AVS, such as Apple's 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max. iPhones ship with a USB-C cable but no power adapter, so a charger is a practical gift.

Do Pro iPhones transfer files faster over USB-C?

Yes. Apple lists USB 3 at up to 10Gb/s on the iPhone 15 Pro, 16 Pro, 17 Pro and 18 Pro, and the iPhone Duo's specs list it too. The iPhone 15, 16, 16e, 17, 17e and Air run at USB 2 speeds of 480Mb/s. The cable in the box is USB 2 on every model, so Pro owners need a separate 10Gb/s USB 3 cable to get the faster speed.

Can an iPhone charge AirPods or an Apple Watch?

Yes. Apple says the iPhone 15 and later can charge AirPods, an Apple Watch or another small USB Power Delivery device at up to 4.5W through the USB-C port, using a USB-C cable. It's handy in a pinch, but slower than a wall charger and it drains the phone. AirPods Pro 3 don't include a USB-C cable, so add one if they'll charge that way.

Does a MagSafe or Qi2 charger work through a case?

Usually, if the case is MagSafe-compatible and thin. Belkin lists cases up to 3mm for its UltraCharge stand, and UGREEN says its car mount works with no case or a MagSafe case but not with a non-MagSafe case. Thick cases without magnets weaken the hold and can stop charging. If you're also buying a case, choose one with built-in MagSafe magnets.
